Flora Farms Wild Hibiscus Margarita

I love this margarita! If you’ve even been to Flora Farms in Cabo, you know how magical it is and how yummy their drinks are. In the midst of this pandemic, the one thing that always bring me joy, is remembering all of the beautiful places I’ve been able to travel to. Drinking also brings me joy lol! I hope you try this recipe and if you do, please share it with me!

Wild Hibiscus Margarita

Pro Tips: If you don’t want to make the hibiscus syrup you can order some from amazon here . That’s what I did, and it came out delish. Try the syrup first, so you get a sense of how sweet it is. I added a flower to my drink in addition to the 1/2 syrup. If you want to get fancy, you can get edible flowers from your local grocery store. I know Whole Foods has them.

SUR LA TABLE'S SPICY WATERMELON MARGARITA!

Ask and you shall receive! Per my insta post here is the recipe for the spicy watermelon margarita I posted! This recipe was adapted from Sur La Table and of course I had to add my own twist to it! Click on the image below for the recipe! I decided to link the pitcher version of the recipe because I know my followers can drink!!

SPICY WATERMELON MARG!

Pro Tips: Do not use that fancy chili mix for the rim! Use some Tajin the real Mexican shiz! You can also muddle the jalapeno if you don’t have time to infuse the tequila . I used Casamigos Blanco Tequila! If you want it more sweet add some simple syrup to taste! When in doubt add more tequila! Drink fast if you pour over ice! It can get watered down pretty quick!

WILLIAM SONOMA’S COCONUT CREAM AND LIME MARGARITA

This cocktail is one of my faves and has such a delicious, rich flavor and consistency! It’s perfectly refreshing and creamy! Click on the image below for the full recipe and check out my pro tips! If you don’t have a shaker, I would definitely just blend all of the ingredients in a blender WITHOUT ICE!

COCONUT CREAM AND LIME MARGARITA

Pro Tips: I used Casamigos Blanco Tequila. I also use canned coconut milk, which also has coconut cream. Blend the coconut milk in a blender before adding to the shaker. This is not necessary, but I also use 1oz of cream of coconut (I also blend before using). Blending the coconut milk and cream of coconut makes the consistency creamier and you don’t end up with clumps of coconut cream.

RECIPES YOU NEED!

I know it’s rough trying to figure out what the hell to make during this quarantine! I mean...who is really counting calories these days right? The one thing you will learn about me is how obsessed I am with food and trying new recipes! I literally can spend hours looking through recipe books, Pinterest and Instagram trying to find the next best recipe I can cook/bake! I am so excited to finally share my finds with you!

You can trust that every recipe I recommend I’ve actually tested, tried and approved. We all know there are a lot of really crappy recipes out there. The worst part is buying all the ingredients only to be completely disappointed in the end. Below are some of my ultimate faves from some of my favorite food bloggers that are necessary for you to try while in quarantine! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and if you end up trying one of them let me know!!!

*Photos are not mine. They were taken by the very talented food bloggers!

Baked Rigatoni with Butter Roasted Tomato Sauce by the Original Dish

The most delicious, easiest pasta bake you need in your life! The sauce is amazing!

Crockpot Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup by Half Baked Harvest

This is a staple in my home! I make my sauce from scratch (not necessary) but don’t skip on the mango or making tortilla chips from scratch! I also use sour cream instead of yogurt! IF YOU USE CANNED ENCHILADA SAUCE YOU CAN SPRUCE UP THE FLAVOR BY ADDING CHICKEN BOUILLON! FOR MORE KICK ADD A SERRANO PEPPER AS WELL!

Brown Butter Caramelized Banana Bread by the Original Dish

This is one of the best banana bread recipes out there! It’s moist and so flavorful! That brown butter is life!

Best Queso Dip by Meatloaf and Mellowdrama

This cheese is one of my most sinful pleasures! You will never go back to the canned cheese again! You don’t need an instant pot for this! You can use your crockpot or do it on the stovetop! Don’t forget to crack open a ice cold beer to go with it! PRO TIP: ADD 4 OZ OF VELVEETA CHEESE AND A SERRANO PEPPER FOR MORE KICK! IF THE CHEESE SEEMS A LITTLE THICK ADD MORE CREAM UNTIL IT GETS TO THE CONSISTENCY YOU WANT!
